An Easy Way to Start Meditating

An Easy Way to Start Meditating

Have you always wanted to learn to meditate but find it challenging to do so?

What if there was a way you could start to meditate that provided the calm and peace you needed to reduce stress?

There is!

It’s right here at Meditate Madison!

Our weekly guided meditation classes on Monday evenings, Saturday and Sunday mornings are just for that purpose! It doesn’t matter if you are new to meditation, need support or have been meditating for some time. Meditation has been proven to naturally calm the nerves, release negativity, and promote rest. The meditations are guided by our facilitator(s). As we meditate together, you will be prompted in what to do. You will learn how and where to place your focus, have any of your questions answered, access tips on how to incorporate a meditation practice into your life, and easy meditations you can use at home. Make a commitment to your mental health as you learn to quiet your mind,

The meditations we present will be one of the following: Mindfulness, breath, loving-kindness, intention or affirmation, a journey to discover the inner self or an inner spirit guide,  body scan, walking meditation on our portable labyrinth, or others. Some may be spent in silence, and some sessions will include the relaxing sounds of the Crystal Singing Bowls or the Tibetan Singing Bowls.

Come to a class and be guided in the process of meditation as you learn to reduce stress, relax more, and invite peace.

You can easily sit on a chair to meditate, no twisting into a pretzel needed!

Classes are $10 per session, but you can purchase 5 or 10 class passes at a discount.

Join us at one of the following classes on these days and times:

Be sure to register or RSVP at least 2-hours before a scheduled class.
